Sutrishna is an ESG and Sustainability Associate Consultant at EWX, specializing in sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas emissions accounting, and climate policy alignment. At EWX, she leads sustainability reporting engagements for clients across the steel, aluminum, and solar manufacturing sectors. Her work includes comprehensive Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions calculations and supporting clients with EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) compliance.
Previously, as an Associate with C-Quest Capital’s Carbon & Sustainability Accounting Team, Sutrishna managed the validation and verification of carbon offset projects focused on cookstove and LED programs across India, Southeast Asia, Mozambique, Burundi, and Bangladesh. Working within the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and SD VISta frameworks, she conducted field assessments, led stakeholder consultations, coordinated with Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs), and prepared comprehensive registration documentation.
Sutrishna holds an MBA in Energy Management from the University of Calcutta and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, along with ISO 14064 certification and specialized training in sampling methodologies for carbon offset initiatives. Fluent in Bengali, English, and Hindi, she brings practical experience and analytical rigor to help organizations address complex sustainability challenges across diverse sectors and geographic regions.
