Parija Mukherjee is an Analyst-Sustainability Services at EWX, where she contributes to the firm’s mission of delivering data-driven, environmentally responsible solutions to clients navigating complex sustainability challenges. With a strong academic foundation in environmental science and a passion for sustainable development, Parija plays a key role in supporting sustainability strategy, decarbonization, climate risk analysis, and ESG reporting initiatives across multiple industry sectors.
Before joining EWX, Parija served as a Project Assistant on a climate adaptation initiative titled “Adaptation to Climate Change and Resilience Building on the Sundarbans Islands through Afforestation and Promotion of Sustainable Livelihoods”, funded by Sign of Hope, Germany. In this role, she conducted extensive fieldwork, including Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with local communities, in-depth interviews with beneficiaries involved in Integrated Farming Systems, Model Nutrition Gardens, and Integrated Nutrition Gardens, as well as evaluations of mangrove plantations and social forestry efforts. She also led the data analysis components that informed project outcomes and recommendations.
Parija holds a BSc and MSc in Environmental Science from Kalyani University and completed an internship at IISWBM focused on Carbon Accounting and Net Zero. She combines academic expertise with practical experience to contribute to sustainable development and climate action through data-driven environmental solutions.. With a strong academic foundation in climate studies and sustainability, she brings a focused understanding of ecological systems, environmental policy, and sustainable development. Parija is committed to driving impactful environmental solutions through research, fieldwork, and data-driven analysis.
