9 in 10 people living in urban areas worldwide were breathing air that did not meet the World Health Organisation’s air quality guidelines.

Inequality and the levels of urban energy consumption pollution are some of the challenges. Cities occupy just 3 per cent of the Earth’s land, but account for 60-80 per cent of energy consumption and 75 per cent of carbon emissions. Many cities are also more vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters due to their high concentration of people and location so building urban resilience is crucial to avoid human, social and economic losses.

The Rights of Persons with Disability Rules, 2017, the Act is in line with the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and aims at encouraging establishments to have a disabled friendly workplace. The Act prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities, unless it can be shown that such act is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim. EWX is created with the belief that services can be provided efficiently while still being cost effective and maintained on a personal level. NAAC

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council is a government organization in India that assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions. NAAC certification is a measure to evaluate and then guarantee a standard of education provided in higher institutions across the nation. NAAC accreditation focuses on improving the quality parameter of education and education system. NAAC category 7 focuses on Institutional values and best practices. This criterion focuses on ensuring the best practices by following the institutional values. It suggests that institutions must develop values & then follow them with utmost honesty. So, complying with all the points of the NAAC is important for gradation of the college.
