A revered name in the power sector, Mr. Dasgupta is an international speaker on materials management and power sector dynamics with 46 years of rich industrial an organizational experience. He is a founding member of India Energy Forum, New Delhi and is the convener of the eastern India chapter of the organization. Mr. Dasgupta, who has been conferred with the lifetime achievement award by Indian Institute of Materials management (IIMM) in recognition of his contribution in the field of Materials Management in India, has also been the Chairman of the Task Force of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) for transmission & distribution. He is presently the national president of Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI). Mr. Dasgupta is presently acting as an advisor to our technical committee and is the master trainer/key speaker in energy sector workshops organized by EWX.
